Profesora: Fiona McAndrew Subias. Fiona is a singer-songwriter from Zaragoza with Scottish roots who goes by the alias Metecandriu. She has an HNC in Music and a Master's degree in Music Therapy.
In these face to face workshops we will approach the world of song through theory and practice. We will dive into the meaning and origin of songs, composition and song analysis in a participatory manner and we will get creative using writing exercises that will enable participants to explore what they have to say and effective ways of getting their message across while combining lyrics and melody. The songs written in these workshops will be recorded as demos and the participants will be able to take songwriting tools with them to keep developing this craft.
Objectives: To explore the world of song, find ways to express thoughts and feelings by combining lyrics and music and to develop creativity while practicing English.
